The US Delta token (USD) is issued by Pinnacle Trust, a European trust dating back to the year 1026, and has been operating in the United States since 1868. Pinnacle is working toward US Delta becoming the main form of currency used on international transactions within the oil industry and shipping of goods. The goal is to remove doubt between international buyers and sellers on a global scale specializing in sea and air transport by removing the issues of exchange rates between national currencies.
The US Delta is a utility token assigned a fixed value of US$ 600,000 per token and is backed by assets listed in the following section below. At the time of this writing, 1 million+ tokens have been minted.
It is an ERC-20 token that is published on the Polygon chain which is an L-2 Layer on Ethereum.
US Delta is backed by a sale and purchase agreement for the Trust to acquire more than 5,000 (five thousand) metric tons of gold. Delivery started in December 2024 and is contracted to follow a bi-weekly delivery schedule of 100 MTs per month. The purchase of the Gold is established outside the sales of the U.S. Delta token exchange.
The gold collateral is valued at more than one trillion dollars, including any and all derivatives based on the price of gold in early Jan 2025.
